A Year To Remember

WHAT A MEMORABLE YEAR

We went to a roller skating event and then celebrated the new year at home with family and friends. Whew, I haven’t been on roller skates in years; what a horror story and a good possibility. My sister was at the gymnastics competition in Ohio.

There was a meeting, and I enjoyed myself at the meeting in Ohio because it was far away. Before the competition, we slept the night at a motel with another gymnast and her mother. After practice, we had a good time. The girls had a joy in the hotel’s abandoned indoor pool after we drove down and had dinner there. I appreciate the complimentary hot breakfast that we had the following day.

A year to remember

Girl Scout cookie sales took up the entire month of March. We are grateful to everyone who supported Lucy. She received the top seller award with another scout and had many great rewards. In front of family and friends, Lucy and her cousin Sandra took part in their first holy communion. Of course, daddy had difficulty looking at this beautiful little girl, knowing that someday she would get married and be with her family.

We took the kids out of school three days earlier and flew to Orlando, where we stayed at a beautiful resort and visited Walt Disney world for the first time as a family. While there, we had fun at universal studios on the island of adventure to see Harry Porter’s world, Sea World’s newest water park, and many other fantastic places with other activities. The beautiful memories were definitely worth the money.

The kids love “Wristband Tuesday,” where they can ride any amusement park rides. Many hangouts at the ocean. We also took a side trip to New York to visit the statue of Liberty with Grandpa. Words can not tell or explain how amazing it was.

To cap it off, we drove to New Jersey to visit the famous “Cake Boss” bakery/ show that I love to watch on the television(It was 31 minutes to 2-hour waiting period for one of their famous pastries). Our next stop was Philadelphia to visit the Franklin Institute of the science museum, a hand on museum for kids and adults.

I enjoyed the two-story model of the heart(I wish I had this kind of center available when teaching 4th to 5th Grade Science. Afterward, we went to the famous Geno’s, a restaurant specializing in Cheesesteaks.

With our families together, I was one of the millions out there that evening trying to get a deal. “I was out from 9 pm to 4:30 am. Yeah, I know, Crazy, but it was fun, and I was with my good friends.

WOW! John is fourteen, and yet another year has already come to an end. Right now, my Goal is to focus on the real purpose of Christmas and simple acts of kindness during this crazy time of the year. We Sincerely hope this year was a happy one for you, and I pray the new year will be a better, happier one for us all.

It’s Great To Feel Loved By Your Family On Christmas Day

Love they say supersedes everything and as we all know love is a great tool for human consumption especially at Christmas, Love as we know brings family together, settles quarrels, disputes among acquaintances and the joy of Christmas makes you feel loved, especially when you have a get together with your family and friends. On a special day like Christmas, love brings everybody together either you meet at a family gathering or you all go out to eat, either way is fulfilling.  They say when things fall apart the center can no-longer hold, everybody comes together because of the love they have together.  when there is love among family members, especially at Christmas the center will always be intact and you will feel loved and happy and you will be hoping that the  family be together again which is always a thing of joy and gladness of heart.

That song happy holidays is a very great song which puts us all in the season mood and makes us all eager to see friends, family and acquaintances.  Christmas always leads to giving gifts, Christmas cards and sometimes going out to eat with family which is part of the love that comes with these wonderful season and most importantly for the kids who are always eager to see father Christmas because of gift and for the joy that they are with a family member which indicates love from parents to kids, love from members of the family to each other and love  from the community to the society which makes the world a joyous and wonderful place to leave and appreciate the year that went by and waiting for the new year to come.

Family gathering, community gathering is always exciting especially at Christmas. We always have the pleasure of happiness when we feel loved by friends and especially by members of the family which makes our hearts and mind filled with joy and happiness especially in the Christmas season. All the attention you get that day makes you fill loved and happy.  As we all know celebrating Christmas is a thing of joy for us all and most importantly is that we celebrate with  joy and happiness that comes with it, that tells us that we should never reject the gathering of friends and family especially at a special period as Christmas. The thought and the joy of getting together most times will make you happy and filled with joy seeing your family members at Christmas.

A happy  time is when people get together to celebrate a most important and peaceful time that matters to all.  Christmas is a time when all friends and families leave there jobs and what ever they have to do to celebrate, it is also a time that people get together in harmony to appreciate life,time and unity with happiness that really counts in the life of man and this is a time when families go out to eat and have fun that really counts with friends and relations .

Christmas is a special time where kids are happy and want to show it by going to Christmas parties and singing carols and Christmas sing and there are lots of important and necessary things happening for everybody. It is really a time that everybody is looking forward to.  i remember as a little kid, this is a time that we are always looking forward to, because we always have fireworks and a lot of fun including going to parties and a lot of eating and drinking, it’s all fun time for all.

Christmas is a peaceful and mood changing period when everybody forgets about their life challenges, sorrows pains and whatever they are going through. It is a season of great impression on all grounds and it is a wonderful time that needs consideration by both kids and adults, so it’s a season of happiness, song, celebration and joy.  Christmas has always been a holiday celebrated carelessly, both pagans, Christians, millennia and Jews alike have become part of the season’s festivities, and it is only few people who consider the celebration’s intrinsic meaning, history, or origins. The joy of it is what really matters and not its origin.

Most of the most popular Christmas customs which  includes the Christmas trees, Christmas presents and Santa Claus.  Most people who are happily preparing for the Xmas celebrations would rather not know about the holidays real origin or significance. even if they know the history or origin of Christmas, they do not care because of the fun and happiness that it brings and that is what really counts or matters.
