Why Honesty Is Important In Friendship

Honesty and sincerity are the foundation of every good thing, especially when it comes to relationships which could go a long way, although, True and real friends are hard to find these days.

They are always there at the corner as long as you have an honest and sincere heart towards each other, and I believe honesty in a relationship is a possibility as long as there is an established trust.

There are many factors that make up a good friend and the most important of them all is being able to open up to each other and not keeping secrets from each other.

ramYour best friends are always there by you, no matter what your situation is and they will support you and make sure you archive your goals in life because you have become part of them and they are part of you but transparency and honesty are the keys.

secrets and lies can destroy what both of you have built especially if you have been friends for a long time. You don’t want your friend to feel betrayed especially by you and I am sure you don’t want to feel betrayed by a friend either.

Secrets and lies are always not the best in whatever situation you may find yourself in, even if you think it’s better than not telling the truth or being honest with that friend. Truth always comes out at the end and your friend could feel betrayed.

Honesty is the source and pillar of a good friendship.

For us to Build and keep up with honesty, we need to make a conscious effort, to tell the truth, be able to communicate freely and do your best to keep to your word. Reliability to each other at all times will go a long way,

Confrontation could be helpful sometimes which will clarify some issues that you probably do not understand. In order to have an honest and trusted relationship, It is always a good idea to learn how to open up with each other. Telling lies to a friend might end up devaluing the relationship you have built with that person if found out.

From my little understanding, honesty simply means you have to agree to say the truth no matter what, it means giving information according to the facts. It is almost like saying “I promise to say the truth and nothing but the truth, so help me God ” when someone is not opening up or is not saying the truth, could be taken as dishonesty.

The truth is nobody wants to deal with friends they can’t trust, to give their sincere opinion about a particular subject. You always want to know your friend’s opinion instead of them just accepting whatever you say to them because you are friends.

If there is no sincerity and honesty between friends then that relationship is not worth it, One way or the other honesty is a way of showing respect to your friends and it proves that you are not fake.

Here comes my Question: “would you rather risk losing a friend by being honest or would you rather keep that friend by not speaking your mind?” My sincere opinion is that honesty is always the best teacher and the best policy when we are dealing with our friends or anybody else. Love they say supersedes everything and as we all know love is a great tool for human consumption especially at Christmas, Love as we know brings family together, settles quarrels, disputes among acquaintances and the joy of Christmas makes you feel loved, especially when you have a get together with your family and friends. On a special day like Christmas, love brings everybody together either you meet at a family gathering or you all go out to eat, either way is fulfilling.  They say when things fall apart the center can no-longer hold, everybody comes together because of the love they have together.  when there is love among family members, especially at Christmas the center will always be intact and you will feel loved and happy and you will be hoping that the  family be together again which is always a thing of joy and gladness of heart.

That song happy holidays is a very great song which puts us all in the season mood and makes us all eager to see friends, family and acquaintances.  Christmas always leads to giving gifts, Christmas cards and sometimes going out to eat with family which is part of the love that comes with these wonderful season and most importantly for the kids who are always eager to see father Christmas because of gift and for the joy that they are with a family member which indicates love from parents to kids, love from members of the family to each other and love  from the community to the society which makes the world a joyous and wonderful place to leave and appreciate the year that went by and waiting for the new year to come.

Family gathering, community gathering is always exciting especially at Christmas. We always have the pleasure of happiness when we feel loved by friends and especially by members of the family which makes our hearts and mind filled with joy and happiness especially in the Christmas season. All the attention you get that day makes you fill loved and happy.  As we all know celebrating Christmas is a thing of joy for us all and most importantly is that we celebrate with  joy and happiness that comes with it, that tells us that we should never reject the gathering of friends and family especially at a special period as Christmas. The thought and the joy of getting together most times will make you happy and filled with joy seeing your family members at Christmas.

SHOWING LOVE

THE RAIN WAS DRIZZLING AND I WAS TAKEN OUT FOR MY REGULAR ROUTINE ON THE GRASS TO WEEEE WEEEEE AS USUAL AND SOMETIMES I DO THE OTHER ONE ,ON THE WAY BACK INTO THE HOUSE, SUDDENLY YOU SLIPPED ON THE GRASS AS THERE WAS LITTLE RAIN,I FELT SO BAD THAT I THOUGHT ,HOW I WISH I COULD PREVENT THAT FROM HAPPENING, FOR I AM READY TO PROTECT YOU NO MATTER WHAT,AND THERE ON THE GRASS I STARTED BARKING YELP! YELP! YELP!AND THIS TOOK ME BACK THE MEMORY LANE, WHEN I WAS A PUPPY AND WE WERE FOUR FROM MY MOTHER AND THERE YOU CAME AND SAID TO MY PREVIOUS OWNER I LOVE THIS PUPPY CAN I TAKE HER AND IMMEDIATELY YOU TOOK ME UP AND TOOK CARE OF ME.

I REMEMBER THE TIMES WHEN YOU RUN YOUR ARMS THROUGH MY SOFT THICK BLACK FUR,STROKING ME AS ALWAYS AND SOMETIMES I AM ON YOUR BELLY AND SOMETIMES I RUN AROUND AND JUMP ALL OVER YOU OUT OF EXCITEMENT AND I START LICKING AWAY AT YOUR BODY.I STILL REMEMBER IT CLEARLY THE WAY YOU FOUND ME,A LOST LONELY PUPPY,THE WAY YOU SHOWED ME LOVE,THE WAY YOU WERE HAPPY SAYING WHAT A SWEET AND LOVELY LITTLE DOG.

ANYTIME YOU GO OUT THE DOOR ,ALL I THINK ABOUT IS WHEN WILL YOU COME BACK?,BECAUSE I MISS YOU ALL THE TIME AND WHEN I HEAR A SOUND ON THE DOOR I BARK THINKING IT WAS YOU WITH ALL EXCITEMENT AND WHEN YOU WALK THROUGH THE DOOR I JUMP ALL OVER YOU BARKING, YELP! YELP! YELP! AS IF WE HAVE NEVER SEEN EACH OTHER FOR A VERY LONG TIME AT THE SAME TIME, I AM WIGGLING MY TAIL TO AND FRO DUE TO HOW I FEEL AND YOU NOW PICKED ME UP,JUMPY AS I STILL WAS IN YOUR HANDS.

ITS EXCITING WHEN I REMEMBER HOW YOU HOLD ME IN YOUR HANDS AND SING AND TRY TO MAKE ME DANCE WITH DANCING STEPS AND YOU CALL THE DANCE PALONGO DANCE.

ALL THIS MEMORIES MAKES ME TO REALISE OUT OF SINCERITY OF HEART, THAT ITS A VERY GOOD THING TO SHOW LOVE TO A PET, FOR APPRECIATION WILL ALWAYS COME AND FOR THE LOVE I HAVE DEVELOPED FOR YOU ,I AM READY TO PROTECT AND ADORE YOU ALWAYS AND I AM READY TO RECIPROCATE THE LOVE YOU HAVE SHOWED ME NO MATTER WHAT AND I ALSO REALISE THAT LOVE IS A WILL TO BETTER LIFE AND HAPPINESS.

RESULT OF NAGGING IN A RELATIONSHIP

Hmmmm!,it is very devastating when you get into a sweet and loving relationship and after getting together the problem you come across most times is when your partner nags.

How does it really feel when you are in this kind of situation?,i realise that this can cause a lot of confusion especially when there is love ,but in truth continuous nagging can cause a lot of problem especially in marriage or a very loving and sweet relationship and this can lead to broken home or broken relationship because one partner likes complains at all times over every small or little thing forgetting that love and relationship is enduring and persevering.
Continuous complains can immensely result in broken home and it is very painful especially wen both parties realise they love each other, but looking at this situation, what could really be the cause of this problem? Could it be that one partner that nags at all time is self centred or just like to complain at all times and how can we be over this nagging situation.
The best one can do in situation like this is to overlook and avoid nagging and what makes it sweet is for the other partner to try and cultivate the habit of  forgive and forget and let life continue,i know some people will say what is he talking about?,but in truth it is best to overlook some situations and let things go and turn a closed ear to most cases.
