Sometimes building a blog that is well optimized will  dependent on what you can do to devise an internal link structure that is very reliable to search engines and the people in general. It is very easy to verify this by studying the most powerful blogs and checking out how good their links are on their site. It is not anything difficult, but there are some things that need consideration such as controlling the flow of PR, or page rank, and restricting them from certain pages. It is better to check your website load time and try to correct any error especially if your site is slow. You need to remember that site map can help you  in all your endeavors to run a faster site. Pictures is one other thing that can make your site to really slow down especially if you have plenty of them; so compressing them a little can go a long way.  The major thing with this is that your site needs to have good and reliable content.
